Paul Gibson had this to say about a fantail nest that Paul Dillon found in his workshop, above his busy bench.
“It is rare for a fantail to nest in a man-made structure, but not unknown. However, how yours decided to nest right above your workbench and with so much movement and noise, I can’t fathom.”
Paul Gibson was kind enough to photograph the event and share with us:
Chicks have now hatched and are being fed.
Very healthy fantail chicks. This was the last set of photos as the chicks left the shed the day these were taken. The chicks were seen in trees on Paul Dillons section with the parents still feeding them.
